TWITCH by Jaime Nisenbaum
I am an experimental photographer based in Berkeley, California. The camera has been a faithful companion throughout my life; however, over the past 20 years, my photography has slowly shifted from documenting life to a more intentional form of self-expression.
The textural and sculptural properties of the world around me have been a main source and inspiration for my photography. I like to think of my images as inhabiting a world between the representational and the abstract, revealing a hidden beauty while evoking a sense of reverence and wonderment.
When I visited Montreal last September, I was inspired by the city's vibrancy and tried to capture it with my camera. That series was the result.
