Ginza

On Wednesday, November 19, Keef and I first went to Tsukiji, where the wholesale fish market used to be. Next to that market were very lively alleys where regular customers could buy some fish to take home or to eat right there. I was there the first time in 2012, when the wholesale market was still in operation, and it was a vivacious and charming place! In 2019, I was there again, and it had gone a little stale after the then-recent closure. Now, in 2025, there is absolutely no reason to go there in my opinion, just a few tired alleys with very overpriced street food for tourists only.

So we went away pretty quickly, to Ginza for some 5th Avenue (NYC) style shooting, where the fancy stores are and where the fancy shoppers go.
We did that for a couple of hours, finding a pizza for lunch, before heading back to Ikebukuro.

Be well!
Niklas
