When I'm on my travels, I sometimes blog
September 3rd was my second full day in Tokyo. I set out for Ikebukuro in the morning. When Keef Charles arrives on the 9th, we're sharing an Airbnb there, in a residential area. On the map, I thought it looked a bit tricky to find and maybe helpful to have a look in advance. Also, to find a good meeting spot at Ikebukuro station for when Keef arrives from the airport. Since we have a kitchen in the flat, I also sought out a good grocery store nearby. Of course, I spent some time in the Ikebukuro centre for some street shooting after. A travel tip which might be helpful for anyone in need (but not wanting to go into a café for that purpose only) is that many parks have public toilets. Found this out today when...
After some rest at the hotel, I went out for an evening photowalk as well, but all the photos in this blog is from the daytime walk.
