When I'm on my travels, I sometimes blog

Rome 6

On Tuesday, Sep 9, I started the day by going to the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea just north of Villa Borghese. <after a couple of hours admiring the art and taking some photos as well, I found a tram outside. I didn't know where it went, but I hopped on anyway and followed its progress using my phone's GPS map. After a pleasant 30-minute trip, I realised I wasn't too far from Gelateria Fassi, where I had been on my first day. I jumped off at the next stop. Before ice cream, I had a sandwich and a pot of tea in an air-conditioned bar, reading my book. It was a nice 20-minute walk to Fassi with some photo opportunities on the way. After another delicious cone of ice cream, I walked southwest in the Monti area until my energy was spent. Luckily, I wasn't too far away from the hotel.
Wednesday, Sep 10, brought a storm with heavy rain and wind to Rome. I spent a good 2 hours at the hotel gym and relaxed in the hotel for the rest of the day, doing some editing.
Take care guys,
Niklas
