Some problems in Tokyo
So, I have had some problems here in Tokyo. Which is why there has been a delay posting more blogs. The last one I did was for Sep 4.
My newish, very expensive laptop broke down. Just not possible to start. But I went to Akihabara and got a new one. A cheaper one for sure and with a Japanese/English keyboard. The setup was not that easy, when even though I had help at the shop to make Windows English, all the programs I wanted to install and websites I wanted to log into insisted on starting with the Japanese version and me finding the right button to change language.
So, many things have happened! The most important being that Keef has arrived! He came in the early evening of Sunday the 9th. We have had a good time so far, except maybe for the incident with my laptop. We met Ziaul Kareem on the 11th! He is a very nice photographer friend of mine from Canada/Bangladesh. He saw one of my Instagram/Facebook posts and wrote to me to say that he also is in Japan! Me and Ziaul have actually met before, in Istanbul. On that occasion it was also a coincidence that we were there at the same time!
On the day when these photos were taken, we met up with fellow Progressive Streeter, Lukasz Palka at 1 pm. We had a nice but short photo walk together and a very nice sushi lunch! It was so good to meet Lukasz again after six years! He is such a great guy and of course also a great photographer!
