When I'm on my travels, I sometimes blog

On day 2, Sep 3 2025, I took the metro to the Spagna station and walked the shopping street Via del Corso north to Piazza del Popolo. From there I walked south again but chose the quieter Via di Ripetta. This one is pretty long and straight but changes its name to Via della Scrofa after a while. Turned west onto the narrow but beautiful Via dei Coronari, where I stayed a week in 2004 with my son Oskar and my dad. Criss crossed a bunch of alleys and saw Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. Sat down for a white pizza at Campo dei Fiori. After lunch I kept on trekking. Had a quick look at the Forum Romanum and the Colosseum and ended up walking all the way back to the hotel even though I had planned to take the metro part of the way. Didn't have the energy for an evening photo walk, just got out for a quick bite at the Mercato Centrale at Termini station. Best meal in Rome so far.
Day 3 was gym day. I did a two hour session at the hotel gym. Sweaty business, my room has ac, but not the gym. I decided to edit and relax by watching a TV series in the afternoon. Just went out to get some delicious Spaghetti carbonara in a fastfood style pasta place I had noticed earlier not too far away from the hotel.
Take care guys,
Niklas

When I'm on my travels, i sometimes blog here
I've always liked to travel and have taken a lot of photos when I do. Since 2010, I've travelled extensively and combined my longing to discover the world with a growing passion for street photography.
My old photo blog was written between 2013 and 18. Beware, it's in Swedish and has 776 episodes.
